About Us

We have a new home located inside the Glenrock Intermediate School, which provides ample play and learning spaces including access to the gymnasium, auditorium, pool and more. We have our own Club operating space for homework, arts & crafts and other  activities. We serve about 50 kids after school each day, which allows our staff and volunteers to give individualized attention to every member. Elementary students can be dropped off at the Club after school by taking the school bus.

Maurica Medders, Glenrock Branch Director

Having been an advocate for children throughout her career Maurica Medders has a passion for kids that was obvious as soon as she stepped into her role as the director at the Glenrock Boys & Girls Club. Maurica (mah-rissa) grew up in Casper and moved to the Glenrock area 4 years ago. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement of Early Childhood from the University of Wyoming. Prior to coming to the Club, Maurica worked as a social services worker for the Department of Family Services and as a case manager for Wyoming Medicaid in the Department of Health.
She says she was attracted to the mission of the Boys & Girls Club and how it matched her personal passion to make a difference for children.
