Our Club Carnival on Friday, April 8, 2022, was run by Junior Staff, Toch Club and Passport to Manhood members. Each booth had a Club member running the game with a staff overseeing sections of games. Our Torch Club members sold concessions.
The games included spin-a-color, lollipop tree, donut-on-a-stick, Nerf-gun bottle-knockdown, dodgeball, football and basketball throw, ring toss and more. The Carnival also featured a cupcake walk, guessing jars, face painting and a prize booth. Club members won tickets at each game to be redeemed for prizes, though some prizes were free.
The Carnival not only allowed Club youth to have a fun and engaging family night of activities, youth also took pride and ownership in running the carnival themselves. This event also served as a great opportunity for families who are not currently connected with the Club to come in and see the many excellent opportunities the Club offers youth. About 50% of attendees were regular Club members, 25% were from the homeschool community that attend Homeschool PE at the Club and 25% were local community members just looking to have fun! We hope you had a great time; we know we did!
