The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming announced today that it has received a generous investment from the Daniels Fund to support youth programming. The $205,000 grant will fund programs that provide positive outcomes in the areas of leadership, citizenship, ethics and character, and mentoring for youth within the Club.
Recent data shows that the Club is making great strides when it comes to members forming a connection with adult mentors. Club administered survey results show that more kids are reporting that they have a meaningful adult connection at the Club. In addition, 85% of Club youth say they feel they can make a difference in their community.
Programming at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming is based around three priority outcome areas – Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles.
“We are so thankful to the Daniels Fund for its belief in our organization and for its generous investment in the youth of our community,” said Ashley Bright, Chief Professional Officer, BGCCW. “This grant will allow us to continue to offer impactful programs for youth and make a difference in the lives of the kids who need it most.”
