The New Year signifies a new start and for many people that means vowing to be more healthy in the coming year. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming is working in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control to help define and create a Culture of Wellness for youth among out-of-school time providers. The Club is hosting a round table discussion on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 11 am – 2 pm at the All-American Center. Lunch will be provided.
The objectives of this pilot project are to promote a Culture of Wellness for youth in communities, work with partner agencies to develop and disseminate evidence-based tools and resources to educate and communicate best practices in healthy eating and physical activity, and build partnerships to promote a Culture of Wellness in school districts and other out-of-school time providers.
This round table discussion will bring together agencies and out of school providers to share ideas, best practices, and barriers to healthy outcomes among youth.
