The Boys & Girls Club has changed and saved lives during the out-of-school hours, providing a safe, constructive environment for thousands of youth in Central Wyoming, including hundreds in Glenrock. Our youth development staff is able to provide this impactful programming and safe atmosphere thanks to the investment of our community. An investment like a donation through the Wyoming Elks Association recently to the Glenrock Boys & Girls Club.
Ms. Pat Russell of the Wyoming Elks Association visited the Glenrock Club in mid-March to present a $1,200 check to the youth. This generous donation comes from the State Elks and the Lusk Elks Lodge #1797. It will help us provide low/no-cost programming that addresses academic achievement, healthy lifestyles, and good character & citizenship at our Glenrock location.
The Wyoming Elks Association is dedicated to meeting the unmet needs of children in Wyoming. The group has provided assistance to the Boys & Girls Club, diaper banks, the food backpack program, and 10 youth oriented organizations.
Thank you to Pat and the Elks for their support of our kids and our Club!
