Get up close and personal with the man in the moon at a family night at Mills Elementary. The Boys & Girls Club has teamed up with the Casper Planetarium to host “To the Moon and Back” on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 7 – 8 p.m.

 

Families will have the opportunity to explore the moon through telescopes provided by the Casper Planetarium. This event provides the chance to ask questions and opens the window to the science of astronomy. There will be refreshments and other family friendly activities.

 

“Kids want to be basketball players and pop stars because that is what they know. If we can foster an understanding of space and astronomy, we are inspiring future astronauts and physicists and encouraging youth to dream,” said Amanda Montes, director BGCCW Mills Branch.
