The Chief Financial Officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming has received regional honors for her dedication to the mission of the Clubs and the national movement. Brandy Popp was named “Administrator of the Year” at the recent Southwest Region Leadership Conference in Albuquerque, NM. The southwest region covers eight states and includes 500 Clubs.

Popp has been with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming for 10 years. In her role, she carefully manages all of the financial resources for the Club, in addition to overseeing the 52 professionals employed by the Club as the Human Resources Manager. Under her leadership, she has helped the organization grow and sustain from a $270,000 budget in 2002 to $2.7 million in 2015.

She has successfully managed a capital campaign that resulted in a brand new 35,000 square foot facility that serves as the Main Club. Popp oversaw the capital campaigns for the All American Center and the Dick and Lynne Cheney Cowboy Ethics Center.

In addition, she acts as the lead finance director for the Wyoming Area Council and Alliance of the Boys & Girls Club and the CFO of the $1.8 million endowment growing it from the ground up.

“Brandy is such an example of grace and grit in this role. She truly has a passion for the families we serve,” said Ashley Bright, CEO, BGCCW. “She is a true professional and is an example of kindness, fiscal responsibility, and flexibility. We are so proud to have her a part of our organization.”

Popp also serves on the Glenrock Town Council, is active in her church, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
