Moving a massive inventory from one location to another is a huge project. Toy Town has been a staple of downtown Casper nearly a quarter of a century. It has recently moved from its location on Center Street, one block to the east to Wolcott Street. From that move were many toys and products that its owners didn’t have room for or were no longer carrying. Being a 100% privately owned and operated Casper based store, the Lockhart’s decided to donate those toys to the Boys & Girls Clubs.
The hundreds of toys generously give to the Club included, puzzles, board games, stuffed animals, and art supplies, many being educational in nature. The toys will be distributed to the children at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming as prizes for participating in educational programs such as Power Hour in which students are encouraged to complete their homework while tutoring is available. Additionally, the donations will restock the current supply of games at the six Club locations in Casper and Glenrock.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming is grateful for the generosity of Toy Town, and the continual support of the Casper Community who make it possible to serve over 8,000 youth every year.
