A power company that serves much of Wyoming and portions of the West has given a generous donation to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming – Glenrock Branch. Rocky Mountain Power has announced a $1,000 gift for the Glenrock Branch.
This gift will go toward Financial Literacy programming for youth that attend the Club in Glenrock. As part of Junior Achievement Financial Literacy programming, youth learn a variety of concepts including budgeting, business plans, taxes, and the voting process. It culminates in a visit to the Financial Literacy Carnival where members can demonstrate acquired knowledge at various games presented by local financial institutions.
The continued support from Rocky Mountain Power allows the Boys & Girls Club Glenrock Branch to serve 250 youth annually with impactful programming that empowers kids to create their own Great Future.
