Wyoming fell to last place in the 2017 National Kids Count Data Book for Child Health, suggesting that our kids are among the most unhealthy and inactive in the United States. Additionally nearly a third of 10-17 year olds in Wyoming are overweight or obese. This data motivates the Boys & Girls Club and its volunteers to exemplify physical activity as a key factor in overall health and wellness in our community.
Our goal is to engage members in at least 60 minutes of physical activity, five days or more per week whether its through Club programming or sports leagues or encouraging them to get moving with their families at home.
Together with our community partners, we can enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
As a community partner in health, organizations or companies will invest in Club programming that encourages a healthy lifestyle. The investment will also be tied to a key word that falls in line with the mission of the Club and serves as a source of inspiration as it will be displayed prominently in our Main Gym.
These text-only corporate sponsor signs are 24″ x 36″ and will be displayed for one year. The sponsorship investment is $1,000.00 per year.
