We are pleased to announce the Brighter Futures Dinner featuring Cowboys’ Legend Jay Novacek, to raise funds for Glenrock’s youth! The Brighter Futures Dinner will take place at 6pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the Boys & Girls Club of Glenrock (100 S. 6th Street). There will be an impact auction with chances to win exclusive experiences and items.
Keynote speaker, Jay Novacek, starred in football at the University of Wyoming from 1982-1984, earning All-American honors and winning the WAC title in 1984. Novacek was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008 and University of Wyoming Athletics Hall of Fame. He enjoyed a successful 11-year career with the Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys. He was an integral part of legendary Cowboys’ teams that won three Super Bowls. During his time in Dallas, Novacek was one of the leading tight ends in football and was named to five Pro Bowls in addition to being named a first-team All-Pro in 1992. In total for his NFL career, Novacek caught 422 passes for 4,630 yards and 30 touchdowns.
